Hi,
Fawn mentioned at some point that as some time ago I had a major increase in the hormone cortisol because of health reasons, it might be good for me to consider cycling licorice for adrenal support. What does that mean "cycling licorice"? What does it do to my body or hair?
Thank you, Satu

Cycling means two weeks on, one week off. It can raise blood pressure, so you don't want to take it all the time.
Not sure about body & hair - hair might come in thicker (it's estrogenic) and may stop falling out if you're stressed.
But basically, licorice balances cortisol levels so your adrenal output is more stable, less up and down periods during the day due to food, stress, sleep, etc.
