As most of you know I'm a "good cause" junkie. One of my favorite websites to visit is the hunger site.
The URL is www.thehungersite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDSites
If you go there everyday and click on the various buttons, sponsoring companies will pay towards various charities for every click. This includes providing food, health checks for children, mammograms for low income women, books for poor kids, animal rescue agencies and rain forest protection.
I myself don't have a whole lot to give on a regular basis, so I do try to hit the site everyday. They have a reminder service where they will email you every day so you'll remember to click on those buttons.
One of the coolest parts is that when you click through, they will usually tell you how much your click was worth - for example: 1.1 cup of staple food, 0.6 cups of food for rescued animals, 11.4 square feet of rainforest, etc.
If you sign up for the reminder service and the newsletters, the sponsors will give even more money to the causes.

Their store also has some very cool and reasonably priced items, from handcrafted artworks from around the world like African baskets, Balinese carvings, Indian jewelry, textiles from Nepal, etc. I'm personally a sucker for this kind of stuff, and its gorgeous and very affordable (even *I* can afford it); many items are in the $12-$35 range, with shipping only $2.95 for all orders.
So, please check them out and don't forget to click every day!
