I have read somewhere on this board that you should keep your temperature high during BE. Well, I've been checking for a couple of days and it keeps bouncing back and forth between 35.1 and 35.6 (95 to 96 farenheit). This is making me really worry because I thought normal was 37, and i've never seen mine below 36. Is this normal? Should I get checked for hypothyroid?

Yes, we've speculated from many lady's experiences, that higher temps were better to help activate the aromatase enzyme to convert testosterone to estrogen..which we can use to store fats, hopefully in the breasts. However, during your cycle, it's usually lower during the first half than the second half. Since being on the rite BE program, mine hasn't been too far above 97 first half, closer to 98 second half. So you're not tooo far off. Usually L-tyrosine helps jump start temps, but that may not always be the fix.

Thanks for replying. I didn't even think about that but I am in the first half of my cycle. I was getting worried, so I called my doctor and asked the receptionist if it was normal to dip that low every once in a while. She told me to check for 3 more days and if it didn't go back up to make an appointment. I know that when I was younger my average temperature was well over 37 because I had an over active metabolism. But in the last month I've managed to gain lots of weight (over 10 pounds ) without any effort. I'm happy about the weight gain because I've been trying for many years to put some on, but if it continues at this pace I'll end up fat soon.
