Hi everyone, Since last two weeks it has been extremely hot here in AZ and since then my lips are always chapped. Nothing at all is working. I have tried everything from vaseline to petroleum jelly to lipgaurd, cocoa butter everything that I can think of. but within 1 hr my lips are again chapped and dry??
What else can I do? Thanks Mansi

Drink more water.
STOP licking them.
Blistex is better than vaseline.

Yep. that's exactly what I was gonna say, Fawn. On hot days, drink even more then the expected amount of water, and definately do not lick your lips (learned that one from DH, although I have a hard time not following his advice! lol)

I have a problem not licking my lips too - and I've got BIG lips. I chap with a vengeance!
I use blistex solid (not the squeeze tube - too messy) and in Mansi's part of the world, might want to make sure it has sunscreen too.

Hi everyone, Thanks. I wil try to drink more water. It is really hard because then you have to rush to the bathroon so often.
And I lick my lips only when they are dry. And then they become more dry. so it is kindda vicious circle. I am trying to break it. Thanks Mansi

Put something unhappy tasting on them so you won't lick them. I use lipstick sometimes and it does keep me from licking my lips (ick!). Fawn
