Hi! I saw an infomercial about bare minerals make up. I was considering trying it. I was wondering if any of you guys have tried it? I was trying to see if there was a forum of some kind but no luck. Just wondering. It's a non-liquid foundation make-up that's made out of minerals. It's suppost to be good for your skin. Well, let me know if anybody has tried it or know of someone who has tried it. Thanks, clayjar

Some women on the T-Tapp formum have used it and love it. Look there and do a search on it. There is also another product they talk about and it cost less. Sorry can't remember the name. Look in the off topic section on page 3 Barbara

Thanks for the tip. I went to the T-tapp forum and found information about bare minerals and another brand called aromaleigh. It also gave me info for forums for aromaleigh and the bare minerals. I appreciate it. I'll probably order samples from aromaleigh. Thanks again. ;D clayjar

Hey, I actually just started using mineral make up but I'm using the Jane Iredale Mineral makeup. This company is the one that first started the mineral craze and I believe the bare mineral and Glow mineral companies are based on the Iredale line. Also I think that the Iredale line has more colors and are the best out there so I've read and heard from customers(my mom works for a plastic surgeon's office and has dealt with these mineral makeup companies before) Anyways, so far I really like this make up. I usually use Clinique foundation but I tried the Iredale liquid foundation the other day. I liked it but I found that the best for me was to use the loose podwer foundation which covers really, really well and is so fast and easy to use. I was very impressed with the foundation along with the blush. The eye shadows are awesome too! They are silky and go on easy and have a lot of pigment. The lipglosses are suppose to be the best. They are made out of all natural ingredients with lemon, honey and ginger...I think so they not only taste good and smell good, they are very good for your lips. I can't wait to get this lipgloss in the mail. I'm not an expert but this mineral makeup so far is really great. It covers, feels like I'm wearing nothing and gives me a spf of 17 from one layer with the loose powder. Plus the first day I wore it I got compliments on my makeup and skin which I think was due to the make up. If you have questions you can contact me !

Hi, I use bare mineral (bare escentuals) and I love it! I have oily/combination skin with acne, and this really takes care of most of it. I'd never go back to wearing liquid foundation. I agree, this brand is pretty expensive, but I buy most of mine on eBay, and save lots of money compared to buying it straight from the company or from QVC.
Well, now that I think about it, it's not that expensive in the long run. I can get a 9Gram jar of foundation on eBay for around $15.00, and it lasts me forever (maybe 4-5 months.) That's less than almost any department brand.
