Okay, I have to make an appt. with my dentist...the problem is I am desperately petrified of the dentist. I know this sounds insane, since I am 27 years old...but I had a really awful experience with a dentist a few years back that has made me so afraid of going now! I have recently experienced having 2 teeth in front on the bottom chip at the gum line(in the back of the tooth)! At first I had no discomfort, but since the day before last, all four on the bottom feel like they are either gonna pop out of my mouth or like they are puching forward. I am not in any pain, but it gets really annoying. It also has affected my bite. So I know I need to go take care of this now! Do I need tell the dentist that I am taking these herbs? Or do these herbs have any effect on anything to that respect? I know I shouldn't be so paraniod about listing them, it's just that many people, especially doctors, think u are insane for trying them and I really don't feel like explaining myself while at the dentist! Does anyone have any insight? Has anyone had a dental problem like this one? What kind of approach did your dentist take? I really am afraid that I am gonna walk out of there with no bottom teeth! I would never leave my house then! I am so afraid of dentists! Please help!!!! I need all the encouragement I can get!!! Thanks, Kelly

Okay, so my appt. is next Friday morning. I would have thought that they could have gotten me in sooner, and actually they offered me an appt. for this Wed. but said the dentist wouldn't be able to fix the chip until another visit. But if I came next week, she would most likely be able to fix it the same day... Now I have to wait another week to get this taken care of. And as petrified of the dentist as I am, I am sure that I will stress myself out even more just waiting for my appt. I am still unsure if I should list these herbs when I go...I don't know if it would even matter at all. So maybe I just won't. Kelly

Okay so my appointment is in the morning...I am so freakin' nervous at this point, I am about to pop a few xanax..or maybe I should wait until right before I have to go...lol...I hope this new dentist is a good one...the last one I went to really put a hurting on me! I went in for a filling and she convinced me that since it was in the very back that it would be better just to let her pull it. And I figured that she must know what she was talking about...so I told her if it was the better route, then to go for it! Boy was that a mistake. I have trouble with getting and staying numb anyways...and after many shots I was still feeling every bit of what she was doing. She apparently didn't believe me and just kept yanking on it...I sat in that chair for over an hour before she finally got the tooth out and she managed to crack the tooth next to it! So there was more work that I had to come back a week later for. And then she tried to charge me for her screw up! So I guess my reasons for being apprehensive of the dentist are understandable, but I just hope that I have a decent experience with it...if not how long will it be before I try to go again...not to mention I eventually will run out of dentists in my area...lol... Wish me luck and no pain! Kelly

Okay, so I am done with the appt...but have to go back next week I think for more excitement! Yea me I thought that I had chipped two teeth on the bottom, but apparently they weren't chipped at all. I have always had really bad problems with build up on the teeth, so she said that was what it was...so that was good.. Now for the bad news... She said at first that I had 2 cavities...then did the xrays and found 6 more...I have severe overcrowding on the bottom and she said that was why I had developed so many. I have 8 cavities!?!?!?? They are not on the top of the tooth, like u usually see, but instead they are in between the teeth. So today they gave me a cleaning that was way overdue, and let me tell u...I don't remember a cleaning ever being that uncomfortable, but it's over now...so hopefully everything else goes ok. I have to call next week after I start my new job and schedule more appts. when I know what my days off are gonna be. The sooner I can get in and get this done, the better. I am such a chicken! Thanks for the luck Momi!!!! Kelly
