I woke up this morning and realized that I have pretty much deflated. Is this a bad sign? Since I don't have periods, I was confused about how to know if I was swelling and gonna lose or what...but am still confused cuz I had stayed pretty consistant over the last 3 weeks especially. I am only on my 6th week with my herbs, so does this deflation really matter? Do most who gain tend to deflate early on only to gain it back later??? I was so mad/upset...you get the point...but now am wondering if being upset about it is unfounded. Can someone enlighten me? I am so confused...I thought I was doing so well with this, and maybe I still am...but just a little unsure about this right now! , Kelly

Hi Kelly, Wow, sorry to hear about that!! Have you lost weight by any chance?
I'm really curious what your hormones are doing on the BC you're on. Is there a way you can find out if they fluctuate during the month?
I know I grew a little and then lost almost everything after my first period. I gained again, lost a little, and have since gained. It seems to be two steps forward, one step back.
I am only speculating, but it seems possible that your body is still fluctuates hormones on a monthly basis. Since the body is DESIGNED to do that, it seems like a possibility, even with the seasonal BC your on.
Keep us posted - maybe you'll start growing again in a week or so.
GOOD LUCK! Lucy

Hey Kelly, Have you lost ALL your growth, by the way? How much did you have to begin with? 1/2"? 1"?
Even though you don't get periods, this sounds like the exact same thing that happens to me: pretty consistent for 3 weeks - then a loss. That does kinda make me suspect that there is something hormonal going on.
I'm just throwing out ideas - I am NO expert here! Still trying to figure all this out myself!!

Awweee Kelly. It does happen, and since you don't have a regular cycle it is VERY hard to tell if it's due to hormonal changes. It is very possible and probable that you will gain some of it back. Also check your temps, if your thyroid is being affected it could cause this too. Let's hope it ALL comes back or at least some of it.

Hey gals,
Lucille, thanks for the kind words...and to answer your question, no I haven't lost any weight. I did weigh myself this evening and no loss...I actually gained 2 pounds...yea me!!! The BC I am on, well I really don't know what kind of affect it's having on me. Logically I thought that with no period I would be less likely to lose any growth for that reason, ya know...but apparently I was wrong. I dunno what is going on...but I do have hope that I will gain again!
Momi, thanks for the support too. I am hopeful that I will pick back up and start gaining again. I have heard so many say that they had gained and lost, only to gain it back...so I am hopeful that this will happen for me. I was disappointed when I realized my girls were gone...but such is life I guess! I am trying to stay positive and will be awaiting their return!!! I am not giving up that easy! Thanks again, Kelly ;D

Double YIKES!!! This happened to me this morning. I lost all my Reikki massage, luteal swelling. It is the second day of my period and I'm on my way down....again. But then, I have reached a point where I don't get excited everytime I hit 31" or almost fill out my AA. Well I was kinda excited this month because the Reikki massage changed the texture of things a bit and I have started cutting back on coffee again. What I am most dissapointed in is Wendi's tapes. I really believe in mind over matter and that these tapes should work alone. My ever present mental block...but I don't know what it is. Sorry for your frustration. Wish I could wave my magic wand and give you all the breasts you desire. tea

Hi Tea, Awww, that sucks! But maybe you won't lose EVERYTHING - so far, I've always lost something during AF. That's to be expected. But I keep a little something - so the same could be true for you. I hope so!

Hey Kelly, I just read something in Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book that I thought might pertain to you: she states that women with hysterectomies still have a hormonal cycle, even though they don't have periods.
So it does seem possible that you've also got a hormonal cycle. If that's the case, don't worry about losing your boobs - they will come back! Probably in a week and bigger than before!

Lucille, I swear u are so sweet! Thanks so much for the info...I do feel better about this. As I was checking myself out today, yea I know that sounds funny, but hey, who doesn't do this? Anyway, as I was observing, I thought that in the mirror, I thought I appeared to be smaller, however, I think that I looked fuller on the sides. Which lifted the spirits a little. Maybe some of what I thought was complete deflation was shifting or something too. I did forget to answer a question u asked me.... I had gained about 1/2 inch on both breasts. I decided not to measure, I think it would only depress me. So I think I will wait until next week as planned and see what happens. Do u think that because of the BC I am on...being that there are only active pills...that since this would be my week to get AF, if there were the sugar pills I would have started them on Monday, that this could explain the deflation? I guess I never thought that without the period the hormone levels would be the same no matter what. That's what I get for thinkin' ;D Thanks again...you're the greatest! , Kelly P.S. Don't worry, we can grow together again!

Okay so maybe I am just really strange, but today I found my boobs again. It hasn't been a week since they left me, and I was kinda figuring that it would take a bit for me to get some of my swelling back and wouldn't be back to what I had gained so quickly...but there they were. I did however tweak a little with my routine on 2/1/04..only adding an extra pill with my last dose(before bed). I have continued with heat and massage like usual...today I got the itchies back, so that is a good thing! Except my hubby thought I was really weird while at dinner I kept rubbing them...lol.... Lucille, I remember u saying that u lost some every month but would always gain it back...how long does it usually take for u to gain back after losing? I am really sore and have been for the last few days, but I see it as a good sign of growth and will just deal with it! I did go ahead and measure today...got a little anxious...and it's only 2 days early so what the heck! I am measuring exactly what I was before. So maybe this month I will gain a little more. Is that how it usually works? Kelly
