I was only an occational visitor of his site although I was on the BO track. Still I will miss there if he really closes it. When someone told me on the MTH about Bob's site, he was already absent from his own, and I joined BE board instead of Bob's (Actually, it turned out better as you all are so supportive???) There were some conflicting opinions between the two sites, but going back and forth was still worth for me. I just feel very, very, sorry:'( ayact

Bob has not made his decision yet. He mentioned some attitudes of the members towards him, like skepticism about his credentials, claims accusing him of lack of support (because he rarely shows up these days), laziness or too much dependence on him, and so on. He says why people do not bother to look in the archives that are now easily available to anybody who visited there.
He says he is too busy to customize BE routine for each person, but can afford to write some general ideas important in BE. If it is not what the members want there, maybe their demands are beyond his capacity, since unlike here, he is practically running his board on his own.
He is now asking people whether they continue the board:o

I've lurked over there ...never posted, didn't agree with EVERYTHING he said. But Bob does seem to know a great deal about BE, hormones, etc. However, when you have absolute control, you do get burned out. Bob does not have assistants that answer the more simple questions. I kinda' noticed nobody seems to jump in and offer advice or what they know to be true. Everybody waits for Bob's eminent return. Sorry....just my observation. When Fawn, who most respect, and has proven her "Herbal/BO" advice, a vast knowlege of the female hormones, reactions....etc...leaves cuz she is just plain ol burned out....there are other's that can pick up the slack. No...they don't have the information she posesses, but at least they attempt to answer post. Not let people hang for days, weeks, even months. So...for those that will miss Bob's board if it closes, maybe make that suggestion. Surely there is someone over there, that could help answer some of the questions over there.

I wonder if there is anybody who cares about who they get answeres from to their questions. With me, I don't care who I would get from. I know depending on the question you have, some people may call on a particular person. But on Bob's board, everyone demands Bob's opinion. It's just like the tons of questions for Fawn that we had before. Remember? Everyone used to start with "Fawn...". I have seen some questions there to which some members had given answers but the post masters were still waiting for Bob's advice. They care only Bob's opinions.
I myself have asked for Bob's opinion once since I never grew and even rarely got tingles. Bob's answer was to get blood test first... I kinda knew that!
For me, going back and forth between Bob's site (only once a month or so to Bob's, though)and here was good because I had to think and do some research to figure out what is true and what is important for me. For instance, progesterone. Fawn's research is great. There is no doubt about it. But it is still Fawn's theory and it is not my finding. Many people take advantage of Fawn's findings without doing research on their own. I was in a medical field for a while and was taught progesterone is necessary for the development of the secondary sex characteristics... means progesterone is necessary for breast development, which Bob supports.
I don't know which is true and still searching for my own answer.
I am not a Bob's supporter. I just refer to the tons of information on his board in order to think about BE, since I do not know any other site (except for here!) that is not commercial and does contain scientific information on BE. Besides, I always acknowledge Bob's long, looong answers.

Nothing wrong with as many sources as you can find!

I personally have nothing but sympathy for the guy. As stated, I found most of the regulars over there didn't bother to do any research, learn the basics, etc. Just "Bob, Bob, bob" - like so many bleating sheep trying to get through the barn doors...
ANYWAY - yes, it gets tiring and frustrating when people want individual programs, etc. It takes a lot of time, there is usually squeezing for data, no blood test results, you can't LOOK at them, etc.
The only disagreement I have with Bob's protocol is: He strives for hormonal balance, I say that natural growth occurs during times of imbalance. Again, I have nothing against progesterone - it's necessary. However, a 2:2 ratio is balance which is status which means no change (or little change). And the whole "theory" developed as a reason to explain the survey results which were that women who used progesterone supplement infrequently grew faster and more than those that used them regularly every month. That isn't theory - that is the raw results of the survey.
Anyway - a basic education in endocrinology and couple hundred hours on medscape should help people do thier programs without dependence.
I honestly don't blame him. He should e-book all this data and sell it - make something out of all the time he's spent.
