Would taking enzymes such as bromelien (spelling???) help with absorbtion of our herbs. I think bromelien is the stuff in pineapple that is supposed to aid in the absorbtion of vitamins in the intestines. I had a major coffee binge in December...counted pots per day not cups per day. I am obviously feeling a bit burnt out and am sure I am deficient in some nutrients. I am also wondering if I absorbed any of the benefits of my herbs since caffeine interferes with absorbtion. Off to detox...I feel a major headache kicking in. Just wondered about the enzyme thing. tea

Tea,
Bromelain helps with the digestion of proteins, as well as with circulation. It helps disolve "fibrin" which can build up in blood vessels in impede cellular microcirculation.
It certainly couldn't hurt.
