I was wondering, I have a friend that I grew up with that looks like she is about 9 months pregnant. she was always a little bit chunky even when we were kids but since he youngest ws born (14 years ago) she has been putting on weight and now she is so unhappy. she always says she widhes she could just cut it off. When I told he about what I am doing she was realy excited for me( I show her my updated pics every month) She asked me if I knew anything that would help her for belly fat. She is not heavy in her lower arms and lower legs. She is 5'3 and 220lbs. She is also a hairstylist(we work together also) and she works 14 hour days five days a week so she doesn't have alot of time for working out but she does walk just about every day. Does anyone know anything that she could take naturally that would help her. When she saw my boobs she was like, "if you could go from little bitty boobies to that then there has to be something out there that can get rid of this belly." Thanks in advance for helping out.

hulagirl,
I'd suggest she try a couple tablespoons of virgin coconut oil every day. It is really good for the metabolism, and women, especially hypothyroid women, have had good success with shedding pounds by only adding that to their diets. Topically, it is also an excellent skin moisturizer and a natural antifungal, and antibacterial. It is also very good for any unwanted body odor, including underarm odor. Just rub it under the arms for a couple of weeks, and you can all but eliminate deodorant. My daughter had a bad rash under her arms that started from over shaving. Antibiotics and cortisone creams did not stop it. I used virgin coconut oil and tea tre oil for a few weeks and it cleared up. After that time she no longer needed deodorant at all, even though before that she was having that strong puberty sweat.
Anyway, didn't mean to get side tracked, but the medium chain triglycerides that make up coconut oil are used very efficiently by the body(MTC's are found in breast milk, which helps protect babies). Have her research it a bit, and hopefully she will see some benefits. I would suggest she mix it in an all fruit smoothy with lowfat kefir, I just like the taste, and she will be increasing her good bacteria in the process.

Hey,my belly fat increased this past month-since I started NBE-so this is very interesting for me too but I got a couple of Qs:1.Where can I find coconut oil?In health food stores etc?2.While on BE we try to store fat so won't the coconut oil hold back our efforts? What if we lose breast fat too?

I have a pretty low body fat to begin with, but I want to lose about another 10 lb, making me be very close to being underweight. Can this still help me? How is all the saturated fat good for you?

Yes, I was wondering about the swollen belly thing since being on NBE. I know that some of the herbs may produce gas, but at times, my stomach just feels like a full water balloon (minus any gas) and I look about 6 months pregnant (but I'm not pregnant at all ;-) ). Anyone have any insight into this?

Joyce- OK.
Natural Mama..I had more tummy problems when I was on my BO regimen. With my new optimized one, I only had gas which OTC remedies took care of. My guess, something you're on isn't agreeing with you and is causing fat storage instead in your tummy area and not just your breasts.

Naturalmama, Would you mind posting a routine? It would be helpful for us to know what you're taking so that we could answer your questions more concisely. I've had the belly fat issue but I was perimenopausal at the time which would make a difference in my response.

I am currently taking approximately: 3000 Fenugreek (spread througout the day) 3000 Wild Yam (spread througout the day) Massaging with Fenugreek oil (just started the oil), then applying heat. (Massage twice a day, only once with oil). 750 GABA (once a day)
And it's more like my belly is distended...implying gas, but I don't always have gas when my stomach is distended.
Thanks.

I saw some coconut oil at a store called Vitamin World today. Not sure if you have one of these where you are, but other health food stores should have them.
