Ok. Im a regular on these music related chat-rooms in my hometown and heve been having an ongoing WAR with the drummer for a local band called Deadlock. It all started months ago when he called me a "tattooed road-sleeper with zero talent". Well thats cool. I know hes f-in jelouse as hell and can kiss my a**. Any way, he really did it when on the day after the terrible murder of legendary Dimebag Darrel he started a thred under that heading and all it was was a list of his bands upcomming show dates. Anyway if anybody cares heres his thread: nashvillemetal.com/v-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=523Heres mine: nashvillemetal.com/v-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=526It may seem out of line of me but I just cant tolerate this guy at all and cant help but talk MASSIVE SH** to him(and these dang computers make it sooo easy) Anyway. Thats all. Fell a little better. Whew.

I run into that once in a while - there are some real not a very nice persons online. Sometimes you just have to walk away. On the other hand - using a death to promote his band was pretty cheesy. Not sure it had to get as ugly as it did. Can't folks find dope in Nashville? I'm still trying to fit the concept of Metal and Nashville into my brain at the same time, so excuse my lack of insight here. BTW - welcome to the board! Fawn

What an idiot.
You're right, computers give a lot of people power, to say things they wouldn't have the guts to say otherwise.

MSN?!
Okay, if it's an online relationship in which you've never actually spoken on the phone or met, I can understand. But to break up while chatting on MSN? Please!
Same thing happened to my friend and longtime boyfriend. Only he emailed her.

I got dumped via text message once. It wasn't even a real dump, either. But he never called (or texted, lol) again. Do I win???

I guess that's better than nothing at all. I met a guy on an online matchmaker site, we chatted for 3 months both on the phone and a bit of email. One day he just quit calling. I phoned one last time to see if everything was all right and he said it was, but still, he wouldn't call or email. I sent him a courteous email and wished him well.
I would appreciate the truth far more than being tugged along on a string.
