<<Umm, as far as where to do this meditation, most effective place would be "somewhere that you feel is inviting (library comes to mind)". Don't do it at home...it's over an energy portal, so your energy will have to fight it and the Dark one. As far as the time- anytime but the morning will be great.>>
So, just posting an update... did some meditation to clear up the block. Not sure how good I am at it since I've not really done it too much before... But I felt pretty nice afterward! Like, calm and sort of peaceful or relieved or just re-energized. (Which, in hindsight, is saying something, since I stupidly started my meditation just after drinking a bunch of caffeine! Woops..!) I'm not sure how good of a meditation I did, not having a lot of practice, but I followed the ideas in the link you shared and just tried to be restful and follow my instincts...

Oh! By the way, it might be worth mentioning:
During the time between your post that suggested I try meditation, and today when I actually finally tried the meditation, I've been spending some time thinking about this block and such, and preparing myself to meditate to get rid of it and also maybe to meditate on some other things. And during that time of reflection, (I was waiting until after the holidays to actually try meditation) I did sort of seem to feel a "lift" similar to what you suggested might happen when I finally meditate. This happened during the time over the holidays when I was just casually reflecting on things to prepare for my "post-new years meditation." It was definitely a sense of relief and hope and the notion that I can relax because things might actually be more hopeful than I know... Perhaps just starting to prepare for meditation was enough to get the ball rolling? (I also re-arranged a bunch of stuff in my room in hopes to stir up some slightly better feng shui! ;D )

I just LOVE this update...thanks so much for sharing.
YOU DID a GREAT JOB my friend!! Effective meditation ('cause one could do it in a bad place and get no where!) is one of the best kept secrets out there. It helps center, it helps calm, it helps keep things in perspective, it can also allow that Inner Voice to become louder- the one the says "YOU CAN DO THIS" the one that says "YOUR GUT IS RIGHT", and even what your gut feels like, etc.
Anyways, as far as the status on the block removal, 10= fully removed and 1 is completely there, it's rating 7.1. That's a GREAT for your first effort. Do what you did a few more times, that the hopefulness you feel- won't ever leave you and that durn block will be gone!
O, btw...that feng shui effort- good going, good going. 10= best energy flow in the room. And for yours, it was 4.3 and now it's 9.3 And the pre-meditation you did before was 'good practice' even if it didn't have any effect on the block. It wasn't until you got to the library that it could actually dynamically move towards lifting the block, but you definitely helped lift your own spirits.
Hokay...got quite a grin on my face. Keep at it..and come back if you need me to check things. Don't forget to check the reply abt the college stuff.
