Dear Momi, Fawn, Warriorgirl and anyone else interested,
Wow! What positive responses. Thanks ladies.
I don't get any money on any of the therapies that I recommended. I just found them on my own and thought I would pass on what has been working for me.
Fawn, I really respect how much you know. You have great insights and obviously have had lots of experience in health issues. You are truly refreshing.
We all know that the point to all of this is that you don't grow anything real well if we are sick. So we have a double job of working on our health and trying to create the bodies we always wanted.
I agree with making sure a person is getting enough vitamin B12. That's very sound advice. Can you suggest a quality B12 supplement Fawn? Not all supplements are alike. I have learned to stay clear of supplements overall as I usually get weird reactions from them, but I am willing to try this one with a little guidance.
There are a few comments I have though in our enjoyable discussion. I realize that the thought of being a vegatarian is a turn off to many and I am okay with that of course. It is really a matter to me of people making an educated decision on their eating choices based on personal research where people KNOW what they are doing and what it is doing to them.
In trying to help this pursuit, I would like to point out that if you choose to eat any meat, dairy, and eggs, MAKE SURE IT IS ORGANIC AND NOT FULL OF STEROIDS AND ANTIBIOTICS. The reason that I feel this is so important is because those steroids knock off our hormonal balances which in turn gives us disease and slow growing breast tissue. And the antibiotics in these products really kill our immune systems. For anyone who wants to learn more about this important subject, check out this book, Diet for A New America by John Robbins. I dare anyone to read that book and still be able to stomach non-organic meats, cheeses, and eggs. This guy's father was one of the founders of Baskin and Robbins Ice Cream. John went out himself to find out how animals are treated and put on our table. He tells his story. He does not want his father's money or his ice cream after what he found out. You won't either.
The other thing that I would like to share is that it is important to work on how well your body absorbs nutrients. That was one of my problems. I ate very good food, but had very poor absorbtion and assimilation which meant my body couldn't heal or build healthy tissue. The things that make our absorbtion not so good is from coating our digestive walls with grease and fat from animal products, and having our gastro-intestinal digestive juices out of whack because of hormonal imbalances.
There is a way to eat animal products and counteract these side effects. This product is just amazing and it's one of the few products that I would put my name behind. It is call Primal Defense. You can do a search on the internet to find the info on this product. The only way to get it is at a health food store or some kind of natural health practitioner as far as I know. This product reintroduces the soil organisms that usually would be on our food that actually help our bodies digest and assimilate nutrients. The organisms are missing from our foods because of pesticides and poor soil. When our body lacks these very important organisms, the 'bad' organisms in our system are not kept in check by the good ones. This problem leads to bad digestion and more toxins floating around in our bodies.
If your body cannot absorb nutrients well, you can eat all the good foods you want to and down all the vitamins you desire, and it won't help you a bit. Your time and effort will go to 'waste'. I learned this lesson the hard way.
Now I am showing signs of increased ability to absorb nutrients. It takes time, but the body will heal itself if you give it what it needs.
Thank you Momi for telling me the rules, and since I have a green light:
Warrior Girl this is for you--
For all the therapies I mentioned, I will now put down some sites to help you ladies in some direction for study.
1) Sound therapy--
www.centerpointe.com I already explained these therapies in a previous message, so if you want to know more, look in the message logs. This therapy is awesome! And their counseling support is amazing. They get right on helping you through your ugly issues whenever you ask for help. They encourage you to ask for help and ask for it as often as you want. Growing those neural connectors will eventually help grow those breasts!
2) Lymphology--
immunoquest.org/sys-tmpl/lympholograccadimy/ This is one of the smartest things I have done in my life of finding health! I decided to become a lymphologist and it has saved my life and helped many. If you really want to improve your health and grow healthy tissues, this is the best ticket I have found in my many years of educating myself on health issues.
3) Chiropractor-- You have to find someone who is just gifted in this therapy. Many will work with you on sliding fee scales. My chiropractor is a graduate of Life University in Georgia. You could probably call them and get a list of graduates in your area (770)426-2884 or 1-800-543-3202. My chiropractor is the best that I have had so far in my life. He is a natrual and very thorough. He even teaches me how to take care of my back.
4) Education on eating properly-- I'll share with you where I started my journey, and even after my 11 years of intense study on the subject of health right now, I still think that this book is the best place to start: Fit for Life by Harvey Diamond. It's only a start on the journey though, and this book is great for transitioning into better eating practices. If you just change your eating even just a little, you will get great benefits and much better nutritional support for new, healthy tissues.
5)Fasting-- There isn't a living soul that I recommend for education on this subject. But there is one dead one (he died from a car running over him). His name is Dr. Teofilo De La Torre. The name of the book is The Process of Physical Purification through the New and Easy to Fast. This book has been out of print for a long time and is hard to find. You might find one on the internet with a used book or rare book dealer. I have read a whole lot of books on fasting and done lots of fasts personally. This book and this Doctor's method is the only one that is the safe way to fast-- I mean this dogmatically. If anyone is interested and cannot find a copy, I only have one, but I will be willing to make you a copy at cost. I don't want any money except for cost that's all.
6)Stop blaming everyone except myself for bad health-- well, as I have been getting successes in my health issues, I get to blame myself for the improvements and effort that I put into my health project. It feels great to really own the fact that YOU are responsible for your health and happiness, and NO ONE else! That means you can choose the good things of life.
Thank you Neena for your 2 cents. I am glad you posted about acupuncture because that was something I was researching just the day before your post. I was listening to my gut instinct on what would help and acupuncture and reflexology came up. My instinct has been pretty accurate so far on what my body wants to heal. I have my first appointment with a reflexologist tomorrow. I am excited about it. I'll let you know how it is working.
With acupuncture, my gut says it will be good for me, but my mind has to catch up with the idea of needles in my body. It'll get there, but it might take me a couple of weeks. Okay, I admit it, I'm a little chicken. Maybe you could share more of your experiences with me so I could gain some courage? I know how the therapy works, so that's not an issue for me--You learn how all the therapies work when you become a lymphologist. You ladies would get a kick out of knowing how they work on a scientific basis. It's fascinating stuff!
And Neena, I came to the same conclusion. I think I will take at least a month of refexology, acupuncture, and continue to eat well. And if I feel that my hormones are continuing to balance out right, then I'll start to work on breast growth at that point again.
Thanks again to all of you for all of your help. It really is nice to read information from such intelligent women.
