Hello! I am excited to be part of this board and was hoping to get some feed back on my routine I started last Sunday evening. How long should I try and what should I base my decisions on to continue as is or change?
I am 42 years old and somewhere between a32B to a small 32C.
Body type: slender Height: 5'7" Weight:111-117 under bust: 27" bust 32"
each breast measures between 8" - 9"
Never had children. Don’t smoke, but do drink alcohol occasionally.
The herbal routine I started did give me some soreness and sharp pains on and off the first day, but it seemed to have gone down a bit, less sore, no more sharp pains. I am in my third week of my cycle.
Here is what I am taking spread out over 3 x per day: 2480 mg Fenugreek 1500 mg Red Clover 1875 mg Saw Palmetto 1200 mg Wild Yam 1600 Fish Oil 1600 Flaxseed Oil 1600 Borage Oil
1 protein shake in AM
massage AM + PM with cream that contains Puerania Mirifica Extract
drinking Fennel and or Fennel/Fengugreek tea thoughout the day.
I’d love to reach a D cup, but my hopes are not very high to be honest. Does anyone have suggestions? Should I change anything???

Hi Microberry, welcome. For starters- it's not too bad. Note that Fish Oil and Flaxseed oil both supply Omega-3,6 fatty acids. So I wouldn't necessarily use both. Your fenugreek is a little high, you want to start at lower doses and work your way up. So, I'd reduce the fenu to 1000mg and drop the Flaxseed. The protein shake is good. Drinking tea- no more than 2x's daily is fine for you right now. A D-cup is not unfathomable especially give your starting size. Good luck on the BE journey. Wen'

Thank you Wen!!!
I will drop the Fenugreek and follow your other suggestions as well. I am so sore right now, after only 2-1/2 days. It’s almost painful to massage. I feel very swollen, but not bigger...weird. Than you for the encouragement!

You're welcome . Aah, so the body when it's first introduced to hormonal stuffs and especially w/ massage- will swell up in the breast area. If you're sore- simply don't massage- you don't need it. And there's no need for massaging to be painful. Wen'

Wen, you are so helpful! Thank you. How did you aquire all this knowledge? I’ve been reading a lot of your helpful hints and am very impressed.
One more question, would progesterone cream help me or should I just stick with my routine and see what happens?
I am eager to learn. Thanks!

I learned this BE stuff because I did a lot of trial and error b4 figuring stuff on my own and also leveraging from experiences posted here, and last but not least..I am also able to dowse. Been around/at BE game for about 7 years.
Progesterone cream- unless you've got symptoms which supports its use (perimenopausal, PMS), then leave it alone for now.

Hi Microberry Personally speaking, when I started last year, for 6 months, nothing happened and I took capsules and tried various different herbs. This time, I am taking drops fromtwo herbs and very low doses. I use dowsing to guide me each week as to increase doses or not. I would say if dowsing is not your thing that its still better to take things easy and slowly at first to give your body a chance to adjust to the herbs and to use your intuition not to worry too much about it. So far with my routine it seems like there is an increase by one drop of each herb about every two weeks. I dont know what the eqivalent in capsules is though. There is no increase for me yet, although I started in June, but for me I think the long term goals are more likely to succeed. Everyone is different, i can see from here. good luck I will keep watching your progress.Tia

Right now I get some of my herbs at Mothers Market in So Cal which is a local health food chain, some at Henry’s Whole Foods Market which is a part of Wild Oats and the Borage Oil, Flaxseed Oil and Fish Oil is a combo capsule I got at Trader Joe’s. Not sure where you are located so don’t know if you have the same places to shop. Once I feel things are working for me I might buy bulk herbs at Greenbush. Seems to be the place of choice for a lot of members

So, a quick update! I am almost a week into my routine (with some help of help from Wen). Unfortunately I started on my third week of my cycle, but I got soreness right away on the second day and I was imagining that my boobs got just a little bit fuller. My period is a week out and I had to a 34C bra, because the tenderness is killing me and underbust is getting too tight for the 32’s. It seem like I grew from 32B to a 34B which is a slightly larger cup. it fdoes fit more comfortably. The 34C fills out at the bottom, but the top is still a little loose. I am not getting my hopes up yet because I keep hearing that all will go away once you get your period. But for this week—I’ll enjoy!!!

Oh I forgot to say that the measurements did not reall change except for under bust from 27 to 27-1/2 or 28 (I’m a bad measurer, hahaha) over bust is still the same 32

Thank you!
Wow, the dowsing sound interesting, I might try it...but I am almost a bit scared of it...weird.
What causes the initial swelling? Would it cause inital swelling no matter what even if you are not on the right track?

Thank you! Wow, the dowsing sound interesting, I might try it...but I am almost a bit scared of it...weird. What causes the initial swelling? Would it cause inital swelling no matter what even if you are not on the right track? Dowsing is a bit to absorb mentally (took me a while too!). Maybe muscle-testing would be simpler to 'begin' with. Google anything about muscle-testing. www.goodhealthinfo.net/herbalists/muscle_testing.htmInitial swelling- my thought..body's response to hormonal shift brought on by whatever you're taking. I did BO for one of my regimens. I grew 1 cup in one breast (other didn't do as much) in one month. I lost a little bit of that 'progress' each month until I didn't have any net growth. Taking it long after, I never got the same response. Something similar happened when I did herbs. Difference was..I eventually did see permanent progress. Time tells all. Wen'

Huh..no, it's not normal to get results with the first effort. LOL. If you have pains...very good sign. Just swelling...you'll prolly be disappointed. Now it can happened that one grows without sensations. Another topic all together.
