There is a anti-facial-hair cream,Vaniqa.I read some articles today and seems interesting,it slows down the growth of facial hair.Anyone tried it?Anyone knows how much it costs?

haven't tried it and don't know how much it costs, but I do know that you have to keep using it, otherwise the hair will come back like it was before. . . you may want to consider laser hair removal, which is definitely much more expensive, but will ultimately have better results with less maintenance/upkeep -
questions, let me know

OMG,I just had a look at the prices,I could have electrilysis with that money! It's over 100$ a tube and you have to use it 2 times a day!It would be a good-not permanent,I know-solution if the cost was lower.Even if you stop it it takes the hair 8 weeks to grow back.If only it was cheaper...

Maybe you could have it waxed. It's not that expensive to have done and it lasts about 6 weeks.

Of course you could also get self-wax kits from the store. Sally Hansen makes several varieties, under $10 at Wal-Mart, and there are other brands out as well. If you're afraid of the pain, the SH brand provides you with a topical benzocaine lotion for applying after you wax. . . but here's a trick: you can apply it about 15 minutes before, wash off your skin so the lotion residue doesn't prevent the wax from sticking (skin should still be numb b/c the benzocaine has penetrated), dry thoroughly and wax.

Already tried that and now my hair are rougher than before, even the little smooth ones got worse!I'm thinking about bleaching them with a cream.I know it's not the greatest solution but at least they will not show as bad as now!Maybe if I find the money I'll try electrolysis. Not now of course,I'm broke, all of my money are spent on BE!

Vaniqa is a prescription medicine. If you're not up to that, try fennel extract in aloe vera - it's been shown to significantly slow the rate of hair growth and the diameter (coarseness) of the hair. Needs to be applied twice daily, however.

I don't know if the fennel oil is a good replacement or not - is it essential oil? If so, probably yes, but take it easy.
The mixture should be applied twice daily and normal hair-removal procedures used. After a while, the hair coarseness and speed of growth will diminish. I've tried this on my legs, and it actually works.

I have tried vaniqa, it is expensive and does not work. I would suggest a couple sessions of laser hair removal instead. It kills the hair folicle at the root and hair grows in MUCH finer.

I just went ahead and had the lady the does my eyebrows wax mine. Hurt like an SOB, but it lasts a long time, and it doesn't grow back any faster or thicker.
I also use wax strips from Sally Hansen. Works like a charm, and is cheap.
I'm out of fennel, need to get some for my legs!
